City Visions Europe: Bordeaux, Kosice, Mechelen, Plzen is a design-research program focusing on the urban condition of four mid-scale European cities. It offers the framework for exchange between architects and cities to develop, present, and debate speculative architectural ideas on the future of these cities as well as the European city in general.

Scientific Coördinator

Martino Tattara (Venice 1976) is an architect. His theoretical work focuses on the relationship between architecture and large-scale urban design issues. Tattara teaches in the second year program at the Berlage Institute and he has recently completed his PhD at the Università IUAV di Venezia with a dissertation centered on Lucio Costa's project for Brasilia. He is the co-founder of the architectural office Dogma.
